Join the Town of Cobourg and the communities across Northumberland County for the 16th Annual Mayor's Keep the County Clean Challenge, taking place April 19 to 25, 2026.

Municipalities with the highest proportional representation of volunteers and most litter collected per volunteer will receive trophies at a meeting of County Council!

The Cobourg Rotary Team will be meeting as follows:

  • Location: Peace Park - Forth & Clyde Streets Cobourg
  • Date: Sunday April 19th
  • Time: 9am to 12pm

Free cleanup supplies are avaialble:

  • Location: Cobourg Community Centre (750 D'Arcy Street)
  • Dates available: April 13 - 25 2026
  • Time: 8am to 7pm (Main reception desk)
  • Supplies include gloves and garbage bags

Things to note:

  • Do not pick up hazerdous or dangerous items
  • If you enounter unsafe materials, report them to the Town
  • Wear gloves and use caution near roads and public spaces
